Fillr

Privacy Policy

Effective April 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fillr (“Fillr”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, apps, and services (the “Service”).

Our website is fillrai.com and this policy is available at /privacy.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide: profile and application content you choose to save (for example, your resume details, education/work history, and other form answers), plus any messages you send to us.
  • Account and authentication information: if you create an account or sign in, we receive identifiers needed to authenticate you and manage your account (such as email address and a user/account ID).
  • Usage data: basic diagnostic and usage information such as device type, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Content processed to generate answers: when you request AI assistance, we process the text you submit and the related context needed to produce the response.

Browser and page content

When you actively use the Fillr Chrome extension, we may process visible webpage content such as form fields, questions, messages, and page text so we can provide AI-generated replies, guidance, answers, and autofill suggestions.

Fillr does not collect browsing history in the background. This content is only accessed and processed when you interact with the extension (for example, when you click the extension or request an action).

Authentication

You can sign in to Fillr using third-party authentication providers.

Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information such as your name, email address, and account identifier. We use this information to create and manage your Fillr account, track free usage limits, and provide Fillr Pro access. We do not receive or store your Google password.

AI processing

When you request AI features (such as generating a reply, guidance, an answer, or an autofill suggestion), the information needed for that request may be sent to our backend and to AI service providers to generate results. We aim to process only the content and context necessary to perform the action you requested.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its features.
  • Generate answers and autofill suggestions you request.
  • Create and manage accounts, enforce usage limits, and provide Pro access.
  • Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
  • Communicate with you about updates, support, and important notices.

Payments

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Fillr does not store full credit card numbers. We may store billing-related identifiers such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, and Pro status to manage access to paid features.

How we share information

We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:

  • Service providers (subprocessors): vendors that help us deliver core functionality (for example, hosting, analytics, authentication, data storage, and AI processing services). This may include providers such as Supabase (database/auth) and Stripe (payments). See our Subprocessors page.
  • Legal: if required to comply with law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business changes: if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your stored content by contacting us.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

  • Access / deletion: request access to or deletion of stored content by emailing us.
  • Marketing: if we send marketing emails, you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link.

International transfers

We may process and store information in countries where we or our service providers operate. These locations may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date above indicates when this policy was last revised.
